Returns & Exchange Policy
At Yakuza Motorsports, our goal is to ensure that you’re 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re dissatisfied, you can return it to us within 14 days of receipt, subject to confirmation and meeting the terms and conditions below.
Damaged in Transit / Item Shortages / Incorrect Items
Claims for missing, incorrect items, or items damaged in transit must be submitted within 3 business days of receipt. Please check all items upon receipt to notify us of any issues as soon as possible.
Returns Due to Merchandise Defects
All items sold by Yakuza Motorsports are warrantied only through their respective manufacturers. If you receive a defective item, we will facilitate the warranty process with the manufacturer for a replacement part. The manufacturer will make the final decision on the claim. We maintain strong direct relationships with many brands to ensure superior warranty support.
Refused / Undeliverable Shipments
Any refused or undeliverable shipments returned to us will incur all related shipping costs, including return freight charges and any return-to-sender fees assessed by the carrier. An invoice will be sent for these extra fees. Once paid, your item will be shipped.
Returns for Refund, Store Credit, or Exchange
A Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number must be requested within 14 days of delivery. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted. RMA numbers are valid for 10 days after issue.
Refunds via PayPal, Afterpay, Zip Money or Stripe will incur the payment gateway fee if the refund is initiated via a return request. These providers do not refund their admin fees to us, and these fees will be deducted from your refund amount.
Returned items are subject to a 35% restocking fee, excluding any shipping charges. Items that qualified for free shipping will have our standard shipping charges deducted from the refund or credit. Return shipping costs are not refundable. The 35% restocking fee can be waived for exchange of the same product in a different application of equal or higher value. For other returns and exchanges, the 35% restocking fee applies.
Returned or exchanged products must be brand new, unused, and uninstalled. Items must include all original packaging, materials, and accessories. Missing parts or damaged packaging will be evaluated by the manufacturer to determine if the item can be accepted.
The manufacturer’s labelled packaging should be enclosed within an outer shipping box. Do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer’s packaging.
Securely package the product and include the filled-out Return Merchandise Form and a copy of the original invoice.
Product information provided by Yakuza Motorsports and our suppliers is a guide only. Additional research may be required by the purchaser, as incorrect fitment or incorrect information generally does not qualify for return.
Ship the parcel back to us freight prepaid. We do not accept COD or freight collect shipments. We recommend using a shipping method that provides tracking and insurance.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
No cancellations on any special order items. The following items are non-returnable:
- Electronics
- Turbo / Supercharger kits
- External body parts (including body kits)
- Engine internals and valvetrain
- Wheels and tyres
- Most interior items (e.g. seats, harnesses, etc.)
- Fittings and made-to-order lines
- Coupler, hose, and piping components
- Promotional products
- Racing suits, shoes, and related clothing
- Liquid items
- Any special-order item
- Open box / used items
There is no refund on coilovers not installed by a professional. Proof of professional installation must be provided. All coilover warranties must be processed by our licensed workshop.
Wheels cannot be returned if the packaging seal has been broken. This is due to the high value of the wheel once opened and the inability to resell as new. Returns/refunds are not accepted for incorrect choice of size/specification/colour.
If you do not pick up in-stock wheels within 1 week of their arrival in our showroom, you will either forfeit your deposit or be charged a restocking fee for return to our warehouse. We do not hold wheels for longer than 1 week.
How to Return an Item
If you meet the requirements above, follow these steps:
- Request an RMA number by emailing orders@yakuzamotorsports.com. In the subject, include RETURN and your delivery number from your packing slip.
- Place the item(s) in a box. Do not write on, apply stickers to, or ship using only the manufacturer’s box. Items returned without proper packaging may be sent back at your cost or incur additional fees.
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outer box. If you received a label via email, print and attach it securely.
- Ship the parcel back to us freight prepaid. We do not accept COD or freight collect. Use a tracked and insured method. Shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
- International customers: Please mark the item as “VENDOR RETURN” to avoid duties and customs fees.
Pre-authorised returns: Please email for the return address.
Allow up to eight business days after receipt for your return/exchange/refund to be processed. You will receive email confirmation once completed.
Yakuza Motorsports cannot be held responsible for additional costs outside the original purchase, including but not limited to loss of income, additional transport, labour costs, or other expenses directly or indirectly related to the purchase.
